Narrow shingle bank

In another image you can see how only six days earlier the crest of the shingle bank was twice as wide at the same height. During these 6 days we had no storms just wind runs of 60miles for 3 days. Shingle that has 'disappeared' from here probably will materialize along at Bracklesham Bay. I call this lateral drift. I do hope S.O.S. member John Napper who under the watchful, eyes of Roland and Co. extend the scientific survey on shingle movement, using their stones that are fitted with transponders. These in-turn are monitored and the recordings are subsequent plotted and mapped and can be viewed in programs as Google Earth, etc.
